Come Back (free) 04:44
told a lie on a sullen afternoon that our time would come us someday soon but they don’t care what you’ve done even after all you’ve done told a lie and this is what I’m going to do: come back like the rising of a moon talk back like the sighing of a fool— and he can’t act who never could act who can’t tell lies from the truth told a lie on a sullen afternoon that I was fine with the passing of our youth but they don’t care what you’ve done until you’re dead and gone told a lie and this is what I’m going to do: come back like the rising of a moon talk back like the singing of a loon come back like the rising of a moon fight back like the dying of a bloom— he can’t act who never could act who can’t tell lies from the truth

Is This The Way? (free) 05:07
You’re so surprised that you notice her form, a silhouette of beauty at the cafe door. You picked the wrong night to talk to a girl, the boulevard is trying hard to be heard. She pressed the vein that leads straight through the heart, the only road that will stop where it starts. Is this the way that the good world will end?— a waitress kissing your hand with her breath saying, “Bye bye. . .”

You and I will be friends, at least for tonight. Open up your arms to let in the moonlight. Oh, babe, the bright lights of love will fade out, but you will remain my first heartbreak. You and I will be friends until the end. Open up the door to go— if you must go. No. Wait. Don’t let the tears of heartache tear us apart, make this the last heartbreak. I will open your arms and fall in. They’ll do no harm me now nothing can bend or break me down. Open your arms. Nothing will break me now.

Our Last Martyr (free) 04:48
It was night. Don’t ask me how. We’d been high since it was morning. Guess that was why doing nothing much at all was such a quarrel to decide. It was the night of your mourning. You arrived our last martyr. You were right, but I forgot now just what you were dying for. Yes, I’d forgotten how you’d been wronged and I’d been had. Guess our illusions are all we have of keeping ourselves self-assured. It was the night of your mourning. You arrived our last martyr. You were right, but I forgot now just what you were dying for. Nothing’s so sad as knowing what you had, then razing it right back to climb the walls of a ruin.

Here We Are (free) 03:58
Well, here we are. It’s 3am and we’re still waiting for the sun and talking like old friends who’ve lost the war but still alive to fight again. Well, here we are. It’s 4am and all the beggars have moved on, but we’re still waiting here with open palms for some kind soul to throw us alms. There’s a music yet to be made to stop the aging of the old. When we discover her we’ll both be saved. Isn’t that beautiful to know? Well, here we are. It’s 5am and we’re still bouncing off the walls, our eyes adjusting to the light of dawn, a morning we wished never come. Here we are. Writing down the chords to some new song yet still preparing well to both be hung from gallows of our own design. And there’s a music yet to be made to warm the coming of the cold— the shadow of a muse from miles above. Isn’t that beautiful to know? And there’s a music here yet to be made, an ancient tune for one and all. And it will give the hungered all they crave. Isn’t that beautiful to know?
